Nasal / Sinus Endoscopy
Sinus endoscopy is a procedure used to examine, diagnose, and treat disorders of the nose, sinuses, or throat. During sinus endoscopy, an endoscope - a narrow, flexible tube fitted with a fiber-optic device such as a telescope or magnifying lens—is inserted into the nose, the interior of the nasal passages, sinuses, and
throat. Ear Nose and Throat Services |

Head and Neck Cancer
Cancer of the head and neck is statistically less common than cancer of the breast, lung, colon or prostate. Diagnosing this disease is challenging in that many areas of the ears, nose, and throat where a cancer may arise, are not readily accessible for examination by a general practicing physician. The university settings in which the physicians at Coastal ENT have trained (University of
Pittsburgh - Eye and Ear hospital, University of Pennsylvania, and Washington University of St. Louis) are all nationally known referral centers for cancers of the head and neck. It is because of this exceptional training that our physicians feel especially adept at the diagnosis and management of this very concerning health problem.

Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery
As physicians who are specifically trained in head and neck surgery our Otolaryngologists are frequently asked to surgically address problems of the thyroid and parathyroid. By working not only as an operative team but also in close cooperation with Endocrinologists (doctors who treat the non-surgical aspect of these problems), Coastal ENT has been able to distinguish itself with excellent operative results.
